My approach

Research: Direct User Insights

I believe the best design iterations come from deep, direct user exposure. I am completely comfortable partnering with dedicated UX researchers to run structured studies, but I am equally adept at operating independently—planning, recruiting, and executing standalone research cycles when a product team needs to maintain momentum or when resources are scarce.

Execution: Code-Based Prototyping

My production workflow shifts beyond static canvases into functional, interactive prototypes. I do a significant portion of my final product execution by building working prototypes directly in code. This approach drastically reduces time spent fixing auto-layouts or tweaking static vectors in Figma. Prototyping this way ensures absolute alignment with our production design system, allows for faster usability testing, and creates a clear developer handoff because the engineering team receives a living mock to reference.

Strategy: Cross-Functional Balance

I operate at the intersection of user advocacy and business viability. As a senior designer, I excel at facilitating alignment across different departments by actively hearing out engineering, product, and executive stakeholders. I don't design in a vacuum; I actively map technical constraints and business objectives against user friction points to deliver pragmatic, scalable product architectures that satisfy both the user's needs and the company's goals.
